Retail Seller Certification
Purpose
of the Retail Salesman certification scheme is the certification of the acquisition of all the basic knowledge that an employee in the trade sector should have, in order to optimize his efficiency and to meet the modern needs imposed by the current conditions in the retail trade sector. Thus, it will be able to have a comparative advantage, in order to claim with enhanced supplies its placement in jobs of companies that serve and directly or indirectly strengthen the industry.
Program details
The exam includes 25 closed-ended questions. Exam duration 60 minutes. Success rate 75%.
Conditions for participation
In order to participate in the Retail Certification, the following conditions must apply:
✔ Typical Academic Qualifications.
✔ Applicants must have a minimum of:
- Graduates of EPAL B Cycle, in the relevant specialty – at least 6 months of professional experience.
- Graduates of General Lyceum – Initial vocational training for all the knowledge corresponding to the 3 Main Vocational Functions of the profession
- Compulsory education graduates – at least 5 years of relevant professional experience. Continuing Vocational training for all the knowledge corresponding to the 3 Main Vocational Functions of the profession
- Graduates of EPAS, TES, TEE A Cycle or equivalent cycle in the relevant specialty, at least 1 year of professional experience.
✔ Very good knowledge of English is an additional qualification.
✔ Eric Generic Skills.
Applicants should have enhanced social skills, such as ease of communication, education and polite behavior. They should have a good level of general knowledge in order to effectively manage their prospective clients and develop a spirit of cooperation and professionalism with their colleagues and supervisors in the workplace.
✔ Special Knowledge and skills.
Candidates must demonstrate the specialized knowledge and skills they possess in the above three main professional functions for the exercise of the profession of “Retail Salesman”.
